It is certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAASF) as a class three facility, which means it has been approved for local sedation and general anesthesia. Annual evaluations are performed to ensure that the highest standards are met. Dr. Kaczynski has been an inspector for the AAAASF for the last 10 years and regularly evaluates other facilities as well as updating his knowledge of safety issues, given that the AAAASF is constantly working to improve patient safety.
