The third generation of ultrasonic liposuction, the VASER uses a vibrating precision wand to gently melt the fat cells and allow for easier removal. VASER is and acronym for “Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy.” It is the process of removing excess fat with the use of ultrasound rather than the typical laser. By doing this Vaser liposuction procedures can remove more fat as well as take out more fat at different levels.
Depending on the VASER tool chosen (there are different sizes for different body areas), liposuction procedures can be done on most body parts including ankles, knees, thighs, any part of the torso, upper arms and chin and neck.
